Quantitative Trader

As an experienced Quantitative Trader, your role will involve leading our Quant Team and initiating trading activities. You should possess the following qualifications to be considered for this position: - B Tech, MSc or PhD from a reputable institution in Maths, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields. - Proficiency in statistical techniques and hands-on experience with large datasets. - Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, R, or Matlab. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively, and lead projects from conceptualization to implementation. - Prior exposure to algorithmic trading or familiarity with high-frequency financial data is essential. - Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial markets. - Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and strategies effectively to peers and senior management. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating leadership and enthusiasm to work in a dynamic startup environment. - Trading across global markets and developing consistently profitable strategies with a proven track record. - Implementing risk management and hedging strategies. - Analyzing market volatility and ensuring excellent Return on Capital. - Showcasing strong leadership skills and evaluating trading performance. - Collaborating with developers to enhance trading/risk systems. - Preference for experience in quantitative or statistical arbitrage, or machine learning based strategies.
