Your work at Caterpillar Inc. shapes the world by contributing to the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and equipment used in Quality. As a Quality Specialist, your role is crucial in supporting the site CQMs deployment and ensuring continuous monitoring and governance. You will execute global quality processes defined in the Caterpillar QMS, coordinate internal quality audits, administer area metrics, and support certification activities. Additionally, you will be involved in various Quality training programs, non-conformance resolution, and support corrective actions for non-conformities. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and conduct internal quality audits - Administer area metrics - Draft and submit local training and documentation as necessary - Support certification activities and external audits - Liaise with corporate teams for improvement opportunities - Identify, analyze, and resolve non-conformance issues - Provide technical expertise for system analysis and implementation - Lead training on ETQ for BCP Desford & Stockton Qualifications Required: - Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Automobile) from a Tier 1 University - Strong analytical skills and knowledge of engineering standards - Personal computer skills and familiarity with various software packages - 2-4 years of job-related experience - Good human relations skills for effective collaboration As a specialist within the group, you will provide interpretation and problem-solving advice to internal customers from multiple workgroups in a Division. Your role will impact key quality goals such as Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, and ISO 9000 Certification. You will monitor adherence to quality standards and develop action plans to address performance issues.
