Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control:

    Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations and quality certifications (e.g., ISO, HACCP, FDA, FSSAI).
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for quality checks, production batches, testing results, and corrective actions. Prepare and present quality reports for internal teams and management.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify areas for process improvement and work closely with production teams to implement corrective actions to improve quality.
  • Supplier Management:

    Assess and monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and packaging, and liaise with suppliers to resolve any quality issues.
  • Product Testing:

    Conduct sensory, microbiological, and chemical tests on finished products, RM/PM and ensure compliance with specified safety standards.
  • Training:

    Provide training to production staff on food safety protocols, quality control procedures, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Audits:

    Support internal and external audits and inspections by regulatory authorities, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to standards.
  • Customer Feedback:

    Address customer complaints related to product quality, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in the food industry with strong implementation of ISO 22000, FSSC 220000 standards.
  • Knowledge:

    Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulations (FDA, FSSAI), and quality systems (ISO, HACCP).
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality control.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office

    • HACCP Certificate
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • A proactive approach to identifying and solving quality-related issues.
