Quality Manager (Production)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager Production to lead and manage quality systems, inspections, and process controls across the manufacturing unit. The role focuses on ensuring consistent product quality, compliance with international standards, and continuous improvement in production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems across production
• Ensure products meet customer specifications, drawings, and standards
• Monitor in-process and final inspections
• Handle non-conformities, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Production Quality Management

• Work closely with production, fabrication, and finishing teams
• Set inspection plans, SOPs, and quality checkpoints
• Reduce rejections, rework, and wastage
• Ensure traceability of materials and processes

Standards & Certifications

• Maintain and manage ISO 9001 / relevant quality certifications
• Prepare for and handle internal & external audits
• Ensure compliance with export and customer-specific quality requirements

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain quality records, test reports, inspection checklists, and logs
• Prepare quality reports, rejection analysis, and improvement plans
• Coordinate with customers for quality clarifications and approvals

Supplier & Incoming Quality

• Monitor incoming raw material quality
• Coordinate with suppliers for quality issues and improvements
• Approve vendors from a quality perspective

Team Management & Training

• Lead and train QC inspectors and quality staff
• Conduct regular quality awareness and skill training
• Build a culture of quality-first manufacturing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
• 510 years of experience in manufacturing quality management
• Strong knowledge of:
• Quality tools (7 QC tools, CAPA, FMEA preferred)
• Inspection methods & measuring instruments
• Production processes and shop-floor quality control
• Experience with ISO 9001 systems and audits
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work hands-on on the shop floor

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience in export-oriented manufacturing
• Knowledge of fabrication / welding / coating / galvanizing (if applicable)
• Familiarity with customer inspections and third-party audits
• Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma practices
