Quality Manager Pressure Die Casting & CNC (CMC)

Quality Management System (QMS)

• Establish, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, statutory and regulatory standards.
  
• Drive continual improvement through QMS audits, reviews, and corrective actions.
  

2. Incoming & Supplier Quality

• Develop and enforce quality standards for raw materials, alloys, and consumables.
  
• Audit and evaluate suppliers; ensure defect-free material supply.
  
• Work with suppliers to resolve NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and implement preventive actions.
  

3. In-Process Quality (PDC & CNC)

• Monitor and control process parameters in

  Pressure Die Casting

  (shot monitoring, porosity control, die temperature, metal quality).
• Establish in-process inspection systems in

  CNC / CMC machining

  (tool wear monitoring, dimensional accuracy, SPC).
• Implement Poka-Yoke and mistake-proofing methods to eliminate recurring defects.
  
• Lead problem-solving activities (8D, Why-Why, FMEA).
  

4. Final Inspection & Customer Quality

• Define acceptance standards and ensure

  zero-defect dispatch

  to customers.
• Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and coordinate corrective / preventive actions.
  
• Conduct PPAP, APQP, and other NPD (New Product Development) quality requirements.
  
• Represent the company in customer audits and quality reviews.
  

5. Team & Training

• Lead and develop the quality team (engineers, inspectors, and technicians).
  
• Conduct training on quality tools 5S, SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, 7QC tools.
  
• Foster a culture of quality ownership across production teams.
  

6. Continuous Improvement & Data Analysis

• Monitor key quality KPIs: rejection %, customer PPM, internal scrap, COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
  
• Analyze quality data using SPC, Minitab, or similar tools.
  
• Drive Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma projects to reduce defects and cost.
  

7. Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during casting, machining, and inspection processes.
  
• Promote safe handling of molten metal, die maintenance, and machining operations.
