Quality Planning & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain detailed Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs).
Generate and manage inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action records.
Ensure thorough documentation and traceability of quality processes.
Inspection & Testing:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical components and assemblies.
Execute Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) and/or Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
Verify conformity of products with applicable standards, drawings, and client specifications.
Engineering Drawing & Technical Review:
Accurately read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
Ensure manufacturing processes align with engineering documentation.
Vendor Quality Support:
Conduct on-site inspections at vendor premises to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
Quality Compliance:
Adhere to internal quality standards and relevant external certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
Proactively contribute to process improvements and quality assurance strategies.
