Electrical and Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC VMC electrical systems, including motors, drives, and controls. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on CNC machines, such as issues with power supplies, electrical wiring, PLCs, control circuits, and sensors. Test and calibrate electrical components to ensure optimal performance. System Installation and Upgrades: Assist in the installation of new electrical systems or components in CNC machines. Upgrade electrical components like controllers, drives, and wiring to enhance machine performance or comply with new industry standards. Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical malfunctions in CNC systems and determine the cause of problems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and machine manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Work with CNC operators and engineers to resolve electrical issues and optimize machine settings. Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor electrical systems and ensure machines are operating within safe parameters. Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and any issues encountered. Prepare maintenance reports and update machine logs with details on electrical system performance.
