Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Coimbatore

Type: Contract / Project-based (Initial Phase)

Key Responsibilities

• Visit supplier locations as per the inspection plan.
• Inspect finished goods ready for dispatch and select samples as per the sampling plan.
• Verify samples against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Approve or reject lots based on inspection outcomes:
• Meeting Specification: Approve and upload reports to the SAP portal.
• Not Meeting Specification: Reject and upload reports to the SAP portal.
• Deviation Cases: If a supplier-provided deviation is approved by CRI, the lot will be accepted under deviation and recorded accordingly.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Identify and handle Non-Conformances (NC) as per quality standards.
• Coordinate with the respective team lead for clarification or support when required.

Technical Skills Required

• Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings – Mandatory
• Measurement Proficiency: Skilled in using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge, etc. – Mandatory
• SAP Knowledge: Basic working knowledge of SAP for uploading and reviewing inspection reports – Mandatory
• Inspection Methods: Experience in visual, dimensional, and functional inspection techniques.
• Documentation: Proficiency in preparing inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality records.
• Non-Conformance Management: Experience in identifying, reporting, and handling NCs effectively.
