Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products.

Verify product conformance to drawings, specifications, and industry standards such as AS9100, and MIL-STD.

Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards.

Utilize a wide range of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), and non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment.

Document inspection results accurately in accordance with internal quality procedures.

Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and work with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.

Ensure proper calibration of inspection equipment and report any discrepancies.

Support internal and external audits including MoD, OEM, and customer-specific requirements.

Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Maintain traceability of parts and documentation as per defense requirements.

Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and compliance policies during inspections.
