Quality Inspector

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform

  incoming, in-process, and final inspection

  of

  electronic components, PCBs, and assemblies

  used in aerospace applications.
• Inspect

  PCBAs, wiring harnesses, connectors, solder joints

  , and electronic sub-assemblies as per drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret

  schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and work instructions

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  Aerospace quality standards

  such as

  AS9100 and IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-620)

  .
• Conduct

  First Article Inspection (FAI)

  and maintain inspection records.
• Identify defects and raise

  Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

  ; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Verify

  material traceability, certificates of conformity (CoC), and test reports

  .
• Ensure

  ESD control practices

  are followed during inspection and handling.
• Coordinate with

  Production, Engineering, and Quality teams

  for issue resolution.
• Maintain quality documentation and inspection reports as per aerospace compliance requirements.
  
• Support

  internal, customer, and regulatory audits

  .

Preferred Candidate Profile

Technical Skills:

• Experience in

  Electronics Quality Inspection

  (Aerospace / Defense preferred)
• Knowledge of

  IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620)

• Familiarity with

  AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems

• Understanding of

  PCB assembly processes and electronic testing

• Knowledge of

  ESD standards and handling procedures

• Basic knowledge of

  ERP/SAP systems

  is an advantage

Soft Skills:

• Strong

  attention to detail

• Good

  verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
  
• Documentation and reporting skills

  engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T symbols

  .
• Inspect parts using

  precision measuring instruments

  such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
• Conduct

  First Article Inspection (FAI) as per AS9102

  requirements.
• Ensure compliance with

  AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality standards

  .
• Verify

  material certificates, traceability, and compliance documentation

  .
• Identify non-conformances, raise

  NCRs

  , and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with

  Production, Engineering, and Quality teams

  to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
  
• Support

  internal, customer, and regulatory audits

  .
• Ensure adherence to

  safety, EHS, and 5S practices

  .

Preferred Candidate Profile

Technical Skills:

• Experience in

  mechanical quality inspection

  in

  Aerospace / Defense manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of

  GD&T

  and aerospace drawings
• Familiarity with

  CMM inspection

  (preferred)
• Knowledge of

  machining, fabrication, and assembly processes

• Understanding of

  calibration and metrology practices

• Working knowledge of

  ERP/SAP systems

  (added advantage)
