Position: Quality Executive

Reporting To: Quality Manager

Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting the Quality Manager in driving quality compliance across the hospital through daily audits, documentation checks, and reporting, aligned with NABH standards. The role demands proactive engagement, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding patient safety and institutional quality benchmarks.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily hospital rounds from terrace to basement, focusing on compliance and quality checks
• Perform live documentation audits of patient files in wards and ICUs during the first half of the day
• Identify and report non-compliances, gaps, and improvement areas to the Quality Manager
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of NABH documentation, audits, and internal assessments
• Support in training and sensitization of hospital staff regarding quality protocols and standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely closure of quality-related observations
• Maintain accurate records of findings, follow-ups, and corrective actions
• Participate in quality meetings, mock drills, and accreditation activities as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Postgraduate degree: MHA / MBA (Healthcare Management)
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a NABH-accredited hospital

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of NABH standards and hospital operations
• Strong understanding of hospital quality standards, documentation protocols, and accreditation processes

Skills

• Excellent documentation and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal communication and ability to work across departments
• Ability to work independently

Attitude

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous quality improvement
• Take ownership of assigned tasks
