Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Project Role Description :

Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

15 years full time educationSummary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will apply your expertise in quality processes and methodologies to develop comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies, ensuring that all aspects of the application lifecycle are addressed. You will also focus on defining and implementing key metrics to effectively manage and assess the testing process, including test execution and defect resolution, ultimately driving quality and efficiency in the development process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality engineering. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to align with industry best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java, Unix Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies. - Experience in developing and implementing testing strategies for complex applications. - Proficient in using automated testing tools and frameworks. - Ability to analyze and interpret testing metrics to drive improvements. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing. - This position is based in Pune. - A 15 years full time education is required.
