Project Role Description :Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

We are looking for a Senior Pro*C Developer with strong expertise in developing and maintaining applications that integrate C programming with Oracle databases using Pro*C. The ideal candidate will lead complex development efforts, optimize database interactions, and mentor junior team members while ensuring high performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain applications using Pro*C for Oracle database integration.Write efficient embedded SQL within C programs for data manipulation and retrieval.Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL blocks, and Pro*C code for performance and scalability.Collaborate with DBAs and application teams to ensure seamless integration.Debug and resolve complex issues related to database connectivity, cursor management, and transaction handling.Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with coding standards.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.Work on performance tuning, memory management, and error handling in Pro*C applications.Required Skills QualificationsTechnical Expertise:Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded SQL using Pro*C.Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL.Experience with cursors, bind variables, and dynamic SQL in Pro*C.Familiarity with transaction management, error handling, and exception handling.Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for both C and SQL code.Exposure to Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and makefiles.Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience with large-scale enterprise applications using Pro*C.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to performance profiling tools and debugging utilities.Experience Level8+ years of professional experience in Pro*C development and Oracle database integration.Prior experience in technical leadership or architectural design roles.
