Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while also developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies that align with business objectives. You will focus on enhancing the application lifecycle by applying your expertise in quality processes and methodologies, ensuring that testing is thorough and effective, and that any defects are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Roles Responsibilities:
Responsible for customizing and configuring Jira to meet the needs of the organization. Work closely with team members to ensure that the system is configured to meet the needs of the users. Ensure integrating Jira and Confluence with other systems, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and other third-party applications. Responsible for ensuring that the Jira system is running efficiently and that any performance issues are identified and resolved. Providing technical support to stakeholders, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance on how to resolve them. Work closely with the security team to ensure that the Jira system is secure and that all sensitive data is protected.
Professional Technical Skills:Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Groovy (Programming Language). Extensive technical skills in software development and Atlassian tools. This includes proficiency in Jira administration, Jira workflows, custom fields, JQL, Jira REST API, and the Atlassian SDK. Extensive experience with scripting language including ScriptRunner, Groovy scripting, Automation for Jira. Knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database management. Leadership Skills:Possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of developers and work with architects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Problem-Solving Skills:Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, propose solutions, and implement fixes in a timely manner. Knowledge of Agile Methodologies:Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and be able to apply them effectively in a software development environment. Strong knowledge of web services and APIs, including RESTful and SOAP is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile development environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps practices (such as CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization) is a plus.
Additional Information: Education:Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required for this role. Relevant certifications, such as Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP), may also be beneficial. Experience:Experience in software development and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
