Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our growing CNC machine facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. The person should have hands-on experience with various measuring instruments, gauges, and quality control equipment such as VMM (Vision Measuring Machine) , Profile Projector , and other precision tools used in the CNC machining industry. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of CNC-machined components to ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, and customer requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges , and more to check the dimensions of parts. Operate and analyse measurements using advanced equipment like VMM (Vision Measuring Machine) and Profile Projector . Perform first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections to identify and address defects or deviations. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and gauges to ensure accuracy. Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Qualifications & Skills: 4-6 years of experience in quality control/inspection in a CNC machining or precision engineering environment. Familiarity with CNC machining processes , materials, and tolerances. Hands-on experience with measuring instruments Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus. Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification (preferred). Others with relevant quality experience will also be considered. Salary: As per Industry Standards.
