Role Overview: As a Quality Engineer at Emerson Measurement Systems and Solutions CoE Pune Hub, your primary responsibilities will include interpreting project quality requirements for both domestic and international customers, developing project-specific documents, reviewing procedures for various tests, conducting inspections of electrical and instrumentation items, reviewing supplier reports and records, identifying and reporting quality issues, overseeing quality-related activities on assigned projects, supervising support activities related to product quality, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret project quality requirements for domestic and international customers, adhering to contract requirements and relevant international codes and standards. - Develop project-specific documents such as the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Project Quality Plan (PQP). - Review procedures for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Calibration, Hydro/Leak test, etc. - Conduct inspection of electrical and instrumentation items including Control Panel, PLC, HMI, Flowmeter, and more. - Review supplier reports, supplier ITP, and manufacturer record books to ensure compliance with standards. - Witness and perform internal and customer FAT after system completion. - Identify and report quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions. - Identify process improvement opportunities for internal and supplier processes. - Oversee essential quality-related activities on assigned projects. - Supervise support activities related to suppliers and integration product quality. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline. Other graduates with relevant core quality experience may be considered. - 3 to 8 years of experience in quality. - Experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Major Fabrication, EPC/TPI agency. - Experience in Calibration of Gas/Liquid Analyzer, Flowmeters, Field Instruments. - Experience in Testing of DCS, Control Panel, PLC, HMI, Flow computer. - Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and quality culture. - Proficiency in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis. - Familiarity with National and International Codes/Standards.
