Define and enforce CI class structures, relationships, and data models. Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to ensure accurate CI population. Troubleshoot discovery issues and improve coverage and accuracy. Integrate CMDB with external data sources using APIs, MID Servers, and ETL tools. Monitor and improve CMDB health using dashboards and reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to define CMDB governance policies and procedures. Ensure alignment with ITIL and Configuration Management best practices. Work closely with Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management teams. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members. Develop and maintain CMDB reports, dashboards, and documentation. Present CMDB health and compliance metrics to leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, applications, cloud). Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide), data modeling, and integrations. Experience with MID Servers, APIs, and integration tools. Familiarity with ITIL v3/v4 framework and Configuration Management processes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and CMDB/Discovery certifications preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations, Agile methodologies, and platform administration to deliver effective business automation solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform with a focus on ITSM and Scoped Applications. Design and implement integration solutions using key ServiceNow technologies, including Integration Hub, Single Sign-On (SSO), REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and email integrations. Collaborate in Agile and Scrum development processes to deliver high-quality software solutions. Execute data loading and migration into ServiceNow from third-party systems using Web Services and Import Sets. Develop and maintain UI components such as UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, UI Macros, and Business Rules. Create and manage workflows, Flow Designer processes, and Catalog Items to automate business processes effectively. Perform platform administration tasks, including reporting, creating database views, and managing SQL queries within ServiceNow. Produce detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals for ongoing reference and knowledge sharing. Implement low-code and low-complexity solutions to meet business automation requirements efficiently. Work closely with project managers, process analysts, and team leads to identify project risks and ensure timely delivery of solutions. Qualifications: Proven hands-on development experience in ServiceNow, particularly ITSM modules and Scoped Applications. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration technologies such as Integration Hub, SSO, REST/SOAP services, MID Server, and email. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development projects. Solid expertise in integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools and systems. Skilled in UI scripting and ServiceNow platform development components (UI Actions, Policies, Business Rules, Workflows, Flow Designer, Catalog Items). Familiarity with ServiceNow platform administration, reporting, and SQL/database views. Ability to create clear technical documentation and user guides. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement scalable automation solutions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
