Key Responsibilities: β Lead and manage a QA/QC team of 3β4 personnel to ensure quality assurance across all fabrication processes. β Implement and monitor Total Quality Management (TQM) systems across projects. β Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and fabrication procedures. β Conduct inspection and testing activities in accordance with industry standards. β Perform and evaluate NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods β preferably with ASNT NDT Level II or higher certification. β Maintain quality documentation including ITPs, WPS, PQRs, and material traceability records. β Interface with internal departments, clients, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues. β Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA/QC processes. β Ensure compliance with ISO and other quality system requirements. Required Qualifications & Skills: β Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (DME / BE / B.Tech β Mechanical). β Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC within the heavy engineering fabrication industry. β ASNT NDT Level II certification or higher (UT, RT, MT, PT). β Strong understanding of fabrication standards, welding procedures, and testing techniques. β Proven ability to handle and lead a team of 3β4 QA/QC personnel.
