Schedule:

• Day shift

1. Inspection & Testing

• Perform or supervise in-process and final inspections.
• Use precision instruments (e.g., vernier, micrometer, height gauge) to verify parts.
• Ensure that products meet specifications, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.

2. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain quality records (e.g., inspection reports, calibration logs).
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Assist in first article inspection (FAI) and PPAP documentation.

3. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving

• Investigate defects and process deviations.
• Apply problem-solving tools like 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) diagrams, FMEA, etc.
• Lead or support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

4. Process Improvement

• Monitor process capability (Cp, Cpk).
• Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.

5. Calibration & Equipment Validation

• Ensure all measuring equipment is regularly calibrated.
• Validate new instruments or equipment before use.

6. Training & Communication

• Train production staff on quality procedures and inspection techniques.
• Act as a bridge between engineering, production, and quality departments.
