Quality Engineer - Fabrication

As a Quality Engineer - Fabrication at TVS Motor Company, your role will involve the inspection and approval of two-wheeler chassis, exhaust systems, and other fabrication parts. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing drawings, supplier APQP process, FMEA, Control Plan, and providing early inputs. - Conducting supplier/in-house process audits and approvals. - Carrying out part inspection and approval. - Performing PPAP audits, identifying deviations, and initiating actions. - Conducting problem analysis and solving using 8D and QC story methodology. - Creating inspection standards, carrying out PPAP audits, identifying deviations, and initiating actions. - Establishing supplier process qualification and approval. - Establishing AQI & FQI upfront at early stages. - Assessing significant production trial runs @ planned run rate. Preferred educational qualifications for this position include: Field specialization: DME / BE / Metallurgy / Production Eng.
