Quality Engineer civil

1. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved quality standards (IS codes, NBC, company specs).
• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain documentation of quality records: checklists, material test reports, NCRs, corrective actions, etc.

2. Site Inspection & Quality Control

• Conduct daily site inspections for civil works (shuttering, reinforcement, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing).
• Identify defects or deviations and initiate Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Ensure proper construction methodology is followed by contractors.

3. Material Quality & Testing

• Verify the quality of incoming materials—cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, tiles, etc.
• Coordinate lab tests (slump test, cube test, soil test, etc.).
• Reject substandard materials and ensure compliance with material specifications.

4. Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and consultants for quality-related issues.
• Conduct quality briefings and training sessions for contractors and labor teams.
• Ensure contractors follow quality norms and approved method statements.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily and weekly Quality Reports, NCR logs, and compliance records.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC dashboards to management.
• Support internal and external audits.

6. Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety protocols related to quality processes.
• Verify compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Identify repetitive defects and propose process improvements.
• Implement Lean or Six Sigma practices where applicable.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on major quality failures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
