Job Description: Quality Control (QC) – Garment Industry

Position: Quality Control Executive / QC Inspector
Department: Production / Quality
Location: Noida sec 8
Salary Range: 14000 to 15000
Working Hours: 10am to 07pm

Job Summary

The Quality Control Executive is responsible for ensuring that all garments produced meet the company’s quality standards. The role includes in-line inspections, final inspections, monitoring production processes, and ensuring that defects are minimized.

Key Responsibilities1. In-Line Quality Inspection

• Check garment quality during different stages of production (cutting, stitching, finishing).
• Identify and report defects such as stitching errors, measurement issues, fabric problems, and finishing faults.
• Ensure operations are being carried out as per the approved samples and specifications.

2. Final Quality Inspection

• Conduct final inspection of finished garments before packing.
• Verify measurements, finishing, labeling, and packaging as per buyer requirements.
• Ensure AQL standards are followed.

3. Quality Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily quality reports.
• Record defect percentage, rejection rates, and provide corrective feedback to supervisors.
• Report critical issues immediately to the Production Manager.

4. Process Monitoring

• Monitor production line to ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
• Work closely with the production team to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

5. Sample & Measurement Approval

• Check size sets, PP samples, and production samples.
• Ensure measurements match tech packs and approved fitting standards.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of QC experience in the garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of stitching, fabric types, garment construction, and production processes.
• Understanding of AQL standards and quality parameters.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to identify defects quickly and take corrective actions.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
