Job Title: Quality Controller – Food Processing

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Controller (Food Processing) to ensure that all food products meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food safety systems, hands-on experience with compliance procedures, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) across all stages of food processing.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, standards, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate records related to quality control, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Identify quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to food safety and quality standards.
• Train and guide production staff on hygiene practices, quality standards, and food safety procedures.
• Ensure proper implementation of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and hygiene standards in the facility.
• Prepare reports and communicate quality-related findings clearly to management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of FSMS.
• Sound knowledge of FSSAI laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.
• Good command of English communication (both written and verbal).
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle responsibility with integrity.

Qualifications

• Any Science Degree (Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields preferred).
