Job Description

1. Basic Raw Milk Testing

Perform routine tests: fat, SNF, acidity, temperature, density.
Assist in verifying adulteration tests and supplier milk quality.
Record data and report abnormalities to the senior QC.

2. In-Process Checks

Monitor pasteurization temperature and holding time.
Check pH, acidity, fat/SNF during processing.
Support standardization activities for milk variants.

3. Finished Product Checks

Perform basic physical tests: pH, taste, odor, texture, packaging integrity.
Conduct weight checks and verify coding/labeling.
Prepare samples for microbiological testing (done by senior or lab).

4. Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring

Assist in monitoring CIP/cleaning effectiveness.
Conduct basic hygiene inspections of production areas.
Verify personal hygiene compliance of staff.

5. Laboratory Support

Prepare simple reagents (e.g., 0.1N NaOH under supervision).
Clean and maintain lab glassware and instruments.
Help in equipment calibration routines (pH meter, weighing scale).

6. Documentation

Maintain daily QC logs, test sheets, checklists.
Record deviations and report immediately to the supervisor.
Support in maintaining sample retention.

Required Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related fields.
0–2 years of experience in dairy QC (freshers with internship experience also considered).
Basic understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety.

Key Skills

Basic milk testing knowledge (fat, SNF, pH, acidity).
Observation skills and accuracy in reporting.
Willingness to learn and follow SOPs strictly.
Good hygiene practices and discipline.
Ability to work in shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,378.40 - ₹25,000.00 per month
