We are involved in the manufacture of PVC pipes, fittings and allied products. The quality controller will be heading the quality control operations of the PVC fittings division . Qualifications: Diploma, Bsc or Btech. In Chemistry/ Polymer Chemistry/ Material science 0-5 years experience Ability to learn and carry out tests as per protocol The Quality Controller will monitor the manufacturing processes to ensure that products are made in accordance with requirements and comply with BIS specifications and Quality standards. Their responsibilities include: Interpreting Product Specifications : Reading and interpreting product standards and specifications to understand how the product should look and function. (mainly specs as per IS:7834 and others as required.) Quality control of production Operations : Supervising production processes to ensure they meet minimum standards, identifying areas for improvement, and auditing production and inventory records. Providing Recommendations : Recommending solutions based on testing results or process audits. Collaborating with quality auditors and product designers to enhance product quality. Testing Products : Conducting tests on raw materials and finished products to verify quality and record necessary measurements. Liaison with regulatory bodies: Be the single point of contact between the company and the standards issuing bodies like BIS. Dispatch control: Controlling the product dispatch process.
