Key Responsibilities: Perform rework, touch-up, and repair of SMD components on PCBs as flagged by the AOI machine or QC engineers. Use hot air rework stations, soldering irons, and microscopes for component replacement and solder joint correction. Ensure that all reworked assemblies meet quality and reliability standards. Assist in verifying AOI findings and report recurring defects or trends to the QC Supervisor. Handle PCBs and electronic components safely to prevent ESD damage. Maintain tools, workstations, and rework equipment in proper working condition. Follow all company safety, ESD, and quality procedures. Learn and correctly identify SMD component markings, orientations, and designations. Collaborate with the QC and Production teams for process improvement and defect reduction.
