Quality Control Technician

As an SMD Rework Technician, your role involves performing rework, touch-up, and repair of SMD components on PCBs as identified by the AOI machine or QC engineers. You will utilize hot air rework stations, soldering irons, and microscopes for component replacement and solder joint correction. Your responsibility includes ensuring that all reworked assemblies adhere to quality and reliability standards. Additionally, you will support in verifying AOI findings and communicate recurring defects or trends to the QC Supervisor. It is crucial to handle PCBs and electronic components safely to prevent ESD damage and maintain tools, workstations, and rework equipment in proper working order. You must strictly adhere to all company safety, ESD, and quality procedures. Furthermore, part of your tasks will involve learning and accurately identifying SMD component markings, orientations, and designations. Collaboration with the QC and Production teams for process enhancement and defect reduction is also expected from you. Qualifications Required: - Experience in performing SMD rework and repair on PCBs - Proficiency in using hot air rework stations, soldering irons, and microscopes - Knowledge of quality and reliability standards in electronics assembly - Ability to handle electronic components safely to prevent ESD damage - Familiarity with identifying SMD component markings, orientations, and designations Note: This job is full-time, permanent, and suitable for freshers.
