Quality Control Manager

As a Quality Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization maintains high quality standards across all processes. Your responsibilities will include approving incoming materials, monitoring in-process production, verifying finished products, and meticulously documenting the results. Your ability to communicate effectively and lead a team will be essential for success in this role. You will need to meticulously follow quality control procedures to approve incoming materials, conduct necessary tests, and promptly reject any substandard items. Similarly, you will be responsible for overseeing in-process production, identifying deviations from specifications, and providing guidance for adjustments to ensure product quality. In addition, you will play a key role in approving all finished products by conducting comprehensive tests and confirming adherence to specifications. In the event that products require re-work, you will be accountable for coordinating the necessary actions and documenting the process thoroughly. Maintaining accurate records of inspection results, generating reports, and updating logs will be a critical aspect of your daily tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all measurement equipment is functioning correctly and promptly addressing any maintenance or repair needs. Ensuring a safe work environment, mentoring junior team members, and actively seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth will be integral parts of your role. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements by participating in educational opportunities and reading relevant publications will also be essential. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.S. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, possess at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, and have the necessary work authorization security clearance. Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures are also required for this role.,
