Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QC procedures, inspection plans, and testing methods for adhesives & sealants.
  
• Approve raw materials, conduct inprocess checks, and release finished products as per specifications.
  
• Supervise laboratory testing (viscosity, adhesion strength, curing time, hardness, weather resistance, etc.).
  
• Maintain compliance with ISO and relevant chemical industry standards.
  
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and CAPA.
  
• Coordinate with production, R&D, and procurement to ensure consistent product quality.
  
• Manage calibration of lab instruments and maintain quality documentation.
  
• Lead, train, and motivate the QC team.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of polymer chemistry, adhesives, and sealant properties.
  
• Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, and relevant quality standards.
  
• Handson experience with lab equipment (rheometer, viscometer, UTM, curing ovens, etc.).
  
• Analytical thinking, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
