Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement QC procedures, inspection plans, and testing methods for adhesives & sealants.
Approve raw materials, conduct inprocess checks, and release finished products as per specifications.
Supervise laboratory testing (viscosity, adhesion strength, curing time, hardness, weather resistance, etc.).
Maintain compliance with ISO and relevant chemical industry standards.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints through root cause analysis and CAPA.
Coordinate with production, R&D, and procurement to ensure consistent product quality.
Manage calibration of lab instruments and maintain quality documentation.
Lead, train, and motivate the QC team.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of polymer chemistry, adhesives, and sealant properties.
Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, and relevant quality standards.
Handson experience with lab equipment (rheometer, viscometer, UTM, curing ovens, etc.).
Analytical thinking, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred candidate profile

male candidate in age group of 35 to 50 and residing in PCMC area or willing to relocate to pcmc/ chakan
