Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to ensure

compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.

• Utilize your ASNT certifications in RT, PT, MT, and UT to conduct non-destructive

testing (NDT) and identify any defects, cracks, leaks, or other imperfections.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality

assurance to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to enhance overall

quality and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results, and prepare comprehensive

reports for management review.

• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent quality

deviations in the future.

• Stay updated with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to

quality control in the oil and gas sector.

• Participate in audits and inspections by external regulatory bodies or clients, providing

necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Materials, or related field.
• ASNT certifications in RT, PT, MT, and UT are mandatory.
• Proven experience in quality control or inspection roles within the oil and gas industry.
• Solid knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations, such as API, ASME,

ASTM, and ISO.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test results and identify deviations or

defects.

• Proficiency in using various inspection and testing equipment, tools, and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and communicate

inspection results and recommendations.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to make informed decisions quickly.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement

methodologies is desirable.
