Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to international quality standards including

    IPC-A-610

    ,

    IPC-J-STD-001

    , and

    applicable ISO standards

    (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001).
  • Lead internal and external

    quality audits

    , ensuring compliance and documentation readiness at all times.
  • Oversee

    incoming and outgoing quality inspections

    for PCBs, motors, ESCs, and electronic components.
  • Supervise

    visual inspection, basic electronic testing

    , and

    mechanical verification

    across all stages.
  • Ensure thorough

    functional testing of ESCs and motors

    on bench setups with proper result logging.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve

    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    for quality control.
  • Maintain proper documentation of

    inspection reports

    ,

    rejection records

    , and

    corrective actions

    .
  • Coordinate with

    stores, purchase, production, and design teams

    to ensure timely quality checks and product release.
  • Provide actionable

    feedback to production/design

    teams for ongoing quality and process improvement.
  • Drive

    Six Sigma methodologies

    and

    quality tools

    (like 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, Control Charts, etc.) to minimize defects and improve FPY (First Pass Yield).
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA initiatives, and implement

    Kaizens

    across the production floor
  • Collaborate in

    Production Planning and Control (PPC)

    to align quality assurance with delivery schedules.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators and implement

    preventive quality strategies

    .
  • Mentor and train the quality team and inspectors to ensure understanding of product and process standards.
  • Foster a culture of

    zero-defect mindset

    and continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering,  or a related field.
  • Experience:3+ years (Mid-Level) or 5+ years (Senior) of experience in

    quality management

    , preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
  • Strong knowledge of

    ISO, IATF, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Certified Lead Auditor preferred
