Quality Assurance Technician

Your tasks will involve performing quality inspections of incoming and coated cutting tools under a microscope to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will be responsible for documenting and reporting inspection results accurately and collaborating with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and improve processes. Additionally, you will assist with logistics tasks, including inventory tracking, shipment preparation, and receiving goods, while maintaining detailed records of quality checks, tool status, and shipping/receiving activities. Operating and maintaining quality inspection tools and microscopes will also be part of your responsibilities. You will utilize basic Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and communication, and follow established procedures for quality assurance and safety standards. Furthermore, you will assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production and logistics. Your profile should include a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training being a plus. Previous experience in quality assurance, tool inspection, or a similar role is preferred. The role will require the ability to work under a microscope for extended periods with a high degree of precision, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to perform basic logistics tasks, such as inventory management and shipping preparation, are necessary. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment are essential, along with a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools being a plus.
