Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance, your role involves conducting surprise visits and inspections across various departments to identify gaps in quality, process deviations, or non-compliance. You play a proactive role in supporting the QC team in diagnosing issues and developing solutions to enhance overall quality standards and consistency in the production of rugs and carpets. This includes conducting color, dye, and other relevant tests to ensure that products meet look, feel, and compliance standards as specified by clients. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct unannounced visits and inspections in production, finishing, dyeing, packing, and other departments to assess adherence to quality standards and operational protocols. - Identify process gaps, deviations, or non-compliance issues that may impact product quality. - Document inspection findings with detailed observations and photographs. - Perform colorfastness, dye consistency, and look & feel tests on samples and finished products to ensure alignment with client specifications. - Conduct relevant physical, visual, and tactile tests to verify product compliance and quality standards. - Maintain records of test results and compare against prescribed standards for look, feel, and safety. - Regularly review departmental processes against internal SOPs and client standards. - Evaluate whether departments follow prescribed quality and safety procedures. - Highlight areas requiring corrective or preventive measures for improvement. - Collaborate with QC and senior management to analyze gaps identified during inspections and tests. - Suggest practical solutions and process adjustments to address issues related to color, texture, or material quality. - Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance and effectiveness. - Constantly monitor departmental activities for consistency, standardization, and compliance with client specifications. - Recommend innovations, test methodologies, or best practices to enhance quality and operational efficiency. - Participate in improvement projects and support staff training initiatives based on inspection and testing insights.,
