Role Overview:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality & Technical Manager to lead

quality assurance, vendor management, and production planning across multiple

apparel categories. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in quality

control, vendor coordination, and process management from fabric inspection

through to final product delivery, ensuring compliance with international standards

and buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end quality management from raw material inspection, cutting,

sewing, finishing, and final shipment.

• Plan and monitor production schedules with vendors and factories to ensure timely

deliveries.

• Provide technical guidance to vendors to achieve the best quality standards.

• Manage AQL-based inspections and implement statistical process control in

factories.

• Handle social, technical, and compliance audits across vendor base.

• Lead weekly inspection planning and review target vs. achievement.

• Approve production samples and provide technical approvals at all stages.

• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues in cutting, stitching, finishing, and packaging.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for short shipment management and

delivery performance.

• Supervise and mentor QA teams across different vendor locations.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to buyer standards

and brand expectations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of knits, woven, denim, high-fashion garments, leather goods, and

accessories.

• In-depth understanding of international quality standards (AQL, SPC, audits,

compliance).

• Excellent vendor management and factory coordination skills.

• Ability to analyze problems and provide effective technical solutions.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor QA staff.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with cross-cultural exposure

(Bangladesh, Indonesia, India).

Experience & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Production, and Technical

Management within the apparel industry.

• Proven track record of handling leading international brands such as Guess, Urban

Outfitters, Diesel, Armani Exchange, Free People, Quiksilver, Buffalo Jeans, FCUK,

Tom Tailor, etc.

• Diploma in Apparel Manufacturing Technology (ATDC) or equivalent.

• Graduate degree (Bachelors) preferred.

• Strong language skills in English, Hindi, and working knowledge of Bengali.
