As a Quality Control Engineer for solar modules, your primary objective is to control the quality and minimize the rejection ratio of solar modules to increase the productivity of the organization. You will be responsible for the following key activities: - Handling In-coming quality, In-Process quality, and Final Quality of raw material as well as the final product. - Generating a daily Line finding report to identify non-conformities on the shop floor related to product-process, machines, and safety. - Conducting daily Root Cause Analysis for Module defects, preparing Rework/Rejection Report, and Rework Analysis Report. - Compiling daily MIS Report for Pre-EL & Pre-VQC rejection data. - Conducting trials of new materials like Cell, Flux, Ribbon, EVA, Back sheet, etc. - Testing modules at Flasher, EL & Hipot as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). - Completing all PSI reports and collecting data such as IV-Curve, EL image, etc. - Regularly monitoring PSI passing rate on different AQL levels and working on improvements. - Generating Material Testing/Evaluation report and Material rejection report. - Providing daily MIS Report for Pre-EL, Final EL & Final Visual inspection rejection data. - Preparing shift-wise daily rejection report and submitting Daily Module Review and report to the management. In addition to the key responsibilities, you will also be required to review and verify all ISO documents including Daily BOM Verifications, IPQC Check sheet, Peel test report, SLD calibration report, TS Monitoring check sheet, Laminator Monitoring check sheet, Sun-simulator calibration report, Flasher Test report, Hi-pot test report, Sealant Measurement report, JB Fixing and framing dimension report, Gel content test report, Adhesion test report (Glass to EVA & EVA to Back sheet), Shrinkage test report, Laminator temperature validation test report, LID test report, Mechanical Load test report, etc. Your relevant experience for this role should be a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 12 years. The compensation offered for this position is 14 Lacs along with benefits as per company policy. This position is based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
