Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Management System (QMS):

    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and SOPs across all production units.
    • Monitor adherence to quality standards and enforce corrective actions when needed.
    • Maintain all documentation related to quality audits, non-conformities, and improvements.
  2. Product Quality Control:

    • Oversee quality checks at every stage: fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
    • Approve pre-production samples (PP samples), TOP (Top of Production), and shipment samples.
    • Ensure zero-defect manufacturing and adherence to AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards.
  3. Team Management:

    • Lead, train, and manage the QA/QC team to improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct periodic training programs on quality standards and buyer compliance.
  4. Buyer Communication and Compliance:

    • Interface with buyers and third-party auditors during inspections and audits.
    • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, including safety, fit, colorfastness, and workmanship.
    • Handle buyer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective action.
  5. Audit and Inspection:

    • Conduct internal quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
    • Coordinate external audits, including certifications like ISO, WRAP, SEDEX, etc.
  6. Process Improvement:

    • Analyze quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Use tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or Pareto Analysis to reduce defects and improve productivity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 510 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a QA managerial role.
  • Deep knowledge of garment production processes (woven, knit, denim, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of international quality standards (ISO, AQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (social, environmental, and technical audits).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication (verbal and written) with fluency in English.
  • Attention to detail and high sense of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and quality management software.
