Quality Assurance Manager - Healthcare Operations

Role Overview

Core processes you will manage:

• Patient scheduling and rescheduling accuracy
  
• Appointment confirmation and reminder delivery
  
• Shared Medical Appointment (SMA) cohort building and real-time attendance validation
  
• Uploading SMA clinical visit notes and documents into US EHRs such as Athenahealth, Epic, ModMed, eCW
  

Success Target:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily sampling and 100 percent audit of high-risk transactions
  
• Design and document QA checklists, scorecards, and verification workflows
  
• Lead PFMEA workshops to identify and mitigate risks
  
• Own root cause analysis and CAPA for quality issues
  
• Build and maintain real-time quality dashboards
  
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to convert manual checks into automated tests and bots
  
• Train and calibrate CSRs and schedulers on quality standards
  
• Create the Quality Bridge roadmap for future automation
  
• Act as the final quality checkpoint before any note or schedule change goes to a US practice
  
• Achieve targets: Scheduling accuracy 99.5 percent or more, Note upload compliance 100 percent within 24 hours, Zero revenue leakage, Manual QA reduced by 70 percent in 24 months
  

Required Experience and Skills:

• 10 to 15 years of hands-on QA leadership in US healthcare BPO, RCM, or patient access operations
  
• Experience with PFMEA or FMEA in regulated environments
  
• Strong knowledge of US EHR systems such as Athenahealth, Epic, MoD Med, eCW
  
• Proven ability to reduce error rates from above 5 percent to below 0.5 percent
  
• Strong statistical sampling and process capability experience
  
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt (Black Belt preferred)
  
• Experience designing automated QA or regression frameworks
  
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management
  
• Comfortable working as 80 percent individual contributor in year one
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SMAs, CCM, or RTM programs
  
• Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 9001 audits
  
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Tableau or Looker, UIPath, or Automation Anywhere
