Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a QA Lead to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our large-scale, big data, custom hardware, multi-platform software products encompassing web, API, and mobile application interfaces. As a seasoned and self-motivated engineer, you will actively contribute in a collaborative manner within a continuous integration environment. Your primary focus will involve developing automated Functional Integration tests and end-to-end tests using open-source frameworks for comprehensive system testing in an Agile setting. Your responsibilities will include: - Testing complex API, web, and mobile-based applications connected to database back-end systems. - Creating and managing automated test cases, executing test suites, diagnosing reported bugs, and guaranteeing overall system quality pre-customer release. - Designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test suites for continuous integration to provide valuable feedback. - Collaborating with engineering teams to define testing requirements across the development cycle. - Reproducing, debugging, isolating problems, and validating fixes. - Working closely with software developers to produce essential software artifacts like test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports. - Engaging with internal partner engineering teams in various functional areas within a disciplined agile environment. - Estimating testing tasks independently, working efficiently with minimal supervision, and demonstrating a strong team spirit. **Requirements:** - B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in a Team Lead capacity. - Proficiency in Java/Python coding. - Extensive experience in API testing, particularly RESTful APIs. - Profound knowledge of JSON, Databases, and SQL. - Hands-on familiarity with Linux, Windows, and/or mobile devices. - Expertise in Test processes, open source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and test automation frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, and Appium is highly desirable. - Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems, as well as tools such as JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Git, and Artifactory/Maven. - Detail-oriented, analytical, and innovative with a strong dedication to quality and test automation. - Exceptional collaboration, negotiation, and influencing abilities. - Proven track record in leading ambiguous situations, resolving technical challenges, and delivering effective solutions to ensure timely project deliverables. - Prior experience with requirements, defects, functional, and performance management systems.
