Quality Assurance Lead

As a Lead Software Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing and contributing to tools and processes for automating testing and manual testing of applications, regardless of front-end or back-end technologies. You will work on projects of moderate to high complexity, requiring in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Collaborating with software architects and developers, you will be responsible for developing software test strategies and plans. Documentation of test strategies, test cases, summaries, and expected outcomes will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be instrumental in evolving formal QA processes and standards to ensure the team adheres to industry-accepted best practices. Additionally, you will develop testing assets such as reusable testing strategies and automated testing tools. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science), or extensive programming experience from a young age. You should have at least 4 years of relevant work experience and expertise in various types of testing, including Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, System testing, Installation & upgrade testing, and sanity/smoke testing. Experience with Agile software development methodologies, understanding of user interface design, and strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices are essential. You should be able to leverage technology to enhance product quality and development efficiency, follow a systematic troubleshooting approach, and think innovatively when creating and executing test plans. Proficiency in Core & advanced Java, JavaScript, cloud technologies, Bash, goLang, Python, Puppeteer, Chef, Selenium, JMeter, and SQL workbench is preferred. Familiarity with web automation testing and defect/project management tools like Jira, Basecamp, and Asana is advantageous. A history of identifying critical bugs in enterprise applications will be valued.
