Quality Assurance Lead - Automation & Manual Testing

As a skilled and experienced Software Quality Team Lead, your role will involve leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality assurance processes, develop comprehensive test plans, and collaborate on requirements gathering. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. - Defining and implementing quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices. - Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test strategies, including manual and automated testing. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases. - Reviewing and analyzing project documentation to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues. - Performing various types of testing on software products and analyzing test results. - Coordinating testing activities, identifying defects, and resolving issues with other teams. - Providing technical expertise, guidance, and fostering continuous improvement in testing practices. - Ensuring software products comply with quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. - Communicating and reporting testing activities status to stakeholders. - Providing leadership, guidance, mentoring, and training to team members. - Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on leading and managing testing teams. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Experience in manual and automated testing, including testing frameworks and tools. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance concepts. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple testing projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team environment. - Experience with test management tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing and quality assurance are a plus. Preferred qualifications include experience with leading software quality teams in an Agile/Dev environment.
