Quality Assurance Head

As a Test Lead/Senior Tester, your role involves setting up test environments in the lab and at clients" sites, developing clear test plans, managing project workflow, providing guidance to project teams, giving feedback on team performance, reviewing defect reports, assisting the QA team, and performing ad hoc testing. Your responsibilities include: - Setting up test environments in the lab and at clients" sites - Developing clear and concise test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports - Managing workflow on projects, establishing and meeting project deadlines - Providing day-to-day guidance to project teams and contributing to their technical development - Reviewing defect reports and presenting status reports to clients - Assisting the QA team with development - Performing ad hoc and exploratory testing beyond pre-existing test cases To qualify for this role, you should have: - 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 4 years as a Test Lead/Senior Tester - Strong understanding of testing standards/methodologies, software testing principles, and test tools - Knowledge of automated test tools such as Rational, Segue, or Mercury Interactive - Expertise in white-box testing - Understanding of the Software Development Cycle - Familiarity with Windows 2000 and Unix environments - Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, or Java - Understanding of enterprise technical issues like networking, database, and the Internet - Basic understanding of software and hardware configurations - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills - Ability to evaluate new software products/applications,
