Quality Assurance Engineer

As a QA Engineer at zenda, your role will involve performing testing of web and mobile applications to ensure thorough quality checks before go-live sign-offs. You will be responsible for analyzing functional specifications and designing comprehensive test cases, ensuring complete test coverage to minimize potential defects. Your duties will also include executing regression testing, developing automation scripts, conducting various tests like smoke and sanity tests, identifying and tracking bugs, and recommending improvements to enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Perform testing of web and mobile applications to ensure quality checks before go-live sign-offs. - Analyze functional specifications and design comprehensive test cases. - Ensure complete test coverage and minimize potential defects. - Execute regression testing and maintain automation scripts. - Conduct smoke, sanity, and other functional tests as required. - Identify, reproduce, and track bugs, verifying fixes for effective resolutions. - Recommend improvements to optimize user experience and enhance application quality. - Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of proven experience in manual testing. - At least 1 year of experience in automation testing. - Proficiency in testing web and mobile applications. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including JIRA. - Expertise in writing detailed test scenarios and test cases. - Experience working in an agile/scrum development environment. - Excellent communication skills. - Experience in performance or security testing is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - High level of accountability and commitment to quality assurance.
