Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester specializing in web and mobile applications to join our QA team. You will be responsible for conducting thorough testing on various mobile and web applications to ensure seamless user experiences across devices and platforms. This role includes preparing and executing test cases, documenting issues, and working closely with developers to maintain the quality of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution

  :
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Execute test cases on various browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
• Perform smoke, functional, regression, compatibility, and usability testing across applications.

• Defect Management

  :
• Identify, document, and report bugs in issue-tracking software (e.g., JIRA,).
• Re-test resolved issues to ensure that bugs are properly addressed before deployment.

• Compatibility and Responsiveness Testing

  :
• Ensure that web applications are responsive and compatible across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Test mobile applications on different OS versions (iOS, Android) and device configurations to validate compatibility.

• Collaboration

  :
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential user experience issues.
• Participate in team meetings to review requirements, test cases, and project deliverables.

• Documentation and Reporting

  :
• Document test progress, results, and any issues encountered in clear and concise reports.
• Provide regular updates to project teams on testing status and findings.

• Continuous Improvement

  :
• Contribute to improvements in testing processes, including identifying automation opportunities.
• Stay updated on best practices in manual testing, web, and mobile application testing.
