Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the test cases and application under test
• Work with the respective team to get clarity on the test cases
• Setup automation framework
• Setup software, simulators needed for automation and setup physical devices (iOS and Android) for mobile automation
• Automate the test cases
• Perform dry run of the scripts and deliver results
• Deliver the automation scripts
• Prepare Automation handover document explaining how to use the automation framework and deliver the same

Experience: -

• 5+ years of industry experience in Software testing/Quality Assurance.
• Good Technical background and an understanding of mobile apps in the eCommerce area.
• Good experience in automating test cases using Appium/selenium with different Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android).
• Must demonstrate an understanding of test automation frameworks and creating a framework from scratch if needed.
• Exposure to Azure, Amazon AWS, and/or other cloud platforms.
• Exposure with deployment tools, build/release automation and Continuous Delivery.
• Good analytical skills.
• Must be flexible with working hours, independent, and self-motivated.
