About InvestCloud InvestCloud is a global company specializing in digital platforms that enable the development of financial solutions, pre-integrated into the Cloud The company offers on-demand client experiences and intuitive operations solutions using an ever-expanding library of modular apps, resulting in powerful products Headquartered in Los Angeles, InvestCloud has over 20 global offices including New York, London, Geneva, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney, supporting trillions in assets across hundreds of diverse clients from the largest banks in the world to wealth managers, asset managers and asset services companies, Key Responsibilites Participate in review and analyse the requirements to understand test objectives, provide input on the testability of requirements and highlight any requirement gaps Define and prepare test scope, automated test scenarios and help to do estimation for the project scope Identify and escalate issue/risk to upper manager/lead Review requirements, all testing artifacts and test automation to ensure good quality and automation coverage Resolve software quality control problems/concerns with the team, Produce and maintain test scopes and checklists, required in the project for Quality assurance, Perform a hands-on testing and report defects with reproducible steps, define severity and priority for each defect, participate in agile ceremonies, Automate designed test scenarios Execute, investigate and report test automation regression defects Refactor and fix existing automation test scenarios, Discuss with the client raised issues to facilitate their solving time, Check and verify the testing activities for subordinates testers or test engineers, Promote Teamwork to increase productivity and cooperation between teams and with other Testers Requirements Degree in relevant technology-based subject from a recognized university Industry Experience Around 3+ years of QA/Testing experience with around 1year of Java experience, Technical Skills Java experience is needed for test automation Good understanding of SQL Testing experience is a must Experience in functional, system, and system integration testing of web-based applications Testing activities/tools on automation, performance, change & release, JIRA Experience in working with agile/scrum methodology and/or working experience in a multicultural environment is a plus Experience with automation test design and automation tests patterns, Ideally coming from Banking/Financial background; Wealth Management is an advantage Problem Solver Analytical Detail Oriented Negotiator Active Listener Decision Making, Demonstrate a strong commitment to reaching commonly agreed objectives Fast learner with strong capabilities to comprehend complex software applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Individual Contributor with problem-solving skills and learning attitude Able to establish harmonious working relationships with team members
