Job Description

Ideal candidate should have 4-6 years experience in Functional and API testing Ability to write Functional, Integration and Regression test cases from the analysis of requirements This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure testing aligns with quality objectives. Act as a quality advocate within the organization, promoting continuous improvement and best practices Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and other team members Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports to communicate findings to stakeholders Experience with agile methodologies and working within agile teams Solid experience in API testing is a must and automation using postman is a plus Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Define QA strategies, test scenarios, and coverage plans aligned with business needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively Should have solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices, understanding of build and source control automation tools like Jenkins, Git, and MS Azure DevOps is a plus The role also involves creating and executing test cases for RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and Web Services. Identify test scenarios based on the APIs endpoints, functionality, and integration with other services or systems Test different API request types (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) for various scenarios (positive, negative, edge cases). Experience with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter or Swagger documentation is desired Knowledge of database querying (SQL) and integration testing. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. Required Candidate profile Tenured Tester with 4-6years overall QA experience in API Testing and Functional testing At least 3 years of experience in API testing & Wing postman is desirable Should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
