Role Description

We are seeking a full-time QMS (Quality Management System) Engineer for an on-site position located in Chennai. The QMS Engineer will ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulations by implementing and monitoring quality management systems. Responsibilities include conducting quality audits, analyzing process performance, addressing non-conformity issues, developing continuous improvement strategies, supporting documentation processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
• Proficiency in process analysis, quality auditing, and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with compliance monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications in quality management (such as Six Sigma or ISO certifications) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle manufacturing industry is an advantage.
