Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Management

Oversee
In-Process, and Final Quality Inspection
Ensure compliance with
quality standards, SOPs, and customer requirements
Drive
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and
Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Reduce
rejections, scrap, and customer complaints

Production Management

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly
production schedules
Ensure achievement of
production targets
with optimum manpower and machine utilization.
Monitor
productivity, efficiency, and line balancing
Reduce
downtime, rework, and wastage
Ensure adherence to
safety, 5S, and shop-floor discipline
Coordinate with
maintenance
for machine availability

Quality Control Management

Oversee
Incoming, In-Process, and Final Quality Inspection
Ensure compliance with
quality standards, SOPs, and customer requirements
Drive
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and
Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Reduce
rejections, scrap, and customer complaints

Process Improvement & Cost Control

Lead
continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke)
Improve
First Pass Yield (FPY)
and
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Analyze production and quality data; prepare
MIS and reports
Support
new product/process introduction (NPD/NPDI)

Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead and develop
Production Supervisors, Engineers, and QC teams
Conduct training on
process, quality standards, and safety
Coordinate with
Engineering, SCM, Planning, and Quality teams

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
manufacturing processes & shop-floor operations
Expertise in
Quality Control tools (7QC, RCA, CAPA)
Production planning & manpower management
Data analysis & MIS reporting
Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
