Job Description

As a Quality Control Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing microbiological testing on raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure product approval and release. Your role will involve various quality-related activities in the plant, including physical, chemical, and microbiological testing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Communicating potential compliance issues or problems - Implementing high-quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction - Conducting quality control activities in the factories and material - Checking raw materials, packaging materials, and in-process materials for quality standards compliance - Developing quality assurance procedures for unit processes - Initiating the development of quality systems and ensuring communication to all individuals and departments - Providing internal training for key employees as per standard operating procedures (SOP) - Conducting internal audits and initiating audit processes for all procedures and systems - Collaborating with management and line production staff to achieve efficient and accurate quality assessments - Checking and improving safety and quality control procedures from raw material stage through finished product - Tracking, recording, and maintaining quality assurance data In terms of qualifications and skills required, you should have a B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Organic Chemistry. Additionally, having at least 1-2 years of work experience, preferably with a beverage manufacturing company, is preferred. You should be capable of conducting all microbiology-related testing independently, preparing necessary reports for the Head of Quality, sampling and testing in-process and finished products, and analyzing FG, RM, and PM as per prescribed specifications. You should also possess skills such as experience in a lab environment, handling food and beverage products, self-motivation, knowledge of food laws and compliance, food microbiology, food chemistry, and proficiency in MS Office. Being conversant with the latest laboratory instruments is essential for this role. This full-time and permanent job based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, offers a morning shift schedule. Reliable commuting or willingness to relocate to Bhopal before starting work is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for education, and having 1 year of work experience is also preferred. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to quality control processes and ensure high standards are maintained throughout the production cycle.,
