1. Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures as per contract specifications, IS/ASTM/BS codes, and client requirements.
2. Prepare and control ITPs and method statements for NATM excavation, cavern enlargement, and sequential support works.
3. Ensure quality control of drill & blast, mucking, shotcrete (steel/fiber), rock bolts, lattice girders, steel ribs, and fore poling works.
4. Monitor quality of in-situ concrete, mass concrete, arch, wall, and invert lining works for tunnels and caverns.
5. Control waterproofing systems including membranes, water bars, and drainage arrangements.
6. Review and approve material submittals, mix designs, trial panels, and conduct laboratory and field testing.
7. Ensure geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring records are maintained and coordinated with construction and design teams.
8. Raise, track, and close NCRs; implement corrective and preventive actions.
9. Coordinate inspections with client, PMC, designers, and third-party agencies; support audits and stage clearances.
10. Maintain QA/QC documentation, test records, as-built drawings, and support project handover.
